We were challenged with designing a mental health app that incorporated a gamified approach. The app assigned random tasks to users, rewarding them with points upon completion. As users accumulated points, they progressed through levels and earned badges, providing a sense of achievement and motivation to engage in positive mental health practices.
How we made it happen
We designed activities focused on promoting mental wellbeing. These tasks could include mindfulness exercises, journaling prompts, self-reflection activities, or other evidence-based techniques. The tasks were assigned to users based on their individual preferences, goals, and the level of challenge they desired. Users were incentivized to participate actively, complete tasks, and continuously improve their mental wellbeing.
